[SOLVED] Google Maps im Frontend was created by gandalfak

Hallo, Google Maps wird im Backend wohl angezeigt, nicht aber im Frontend. Da erscheint nur der leere Background. Ich vermute einen Javasript-Error, komme aber alleine nicht weiter. Hat jemand einen Tipp für mich? --> joomla.ruediger-schima.de/index.php/termine#.UPWSdGfNkyk

Außerdem finde ich keine Einstellung zur Registrierung zum Newsletter im Frontend.

Hallo!

About your Google Maps, it is because you template site load JQuery library without test !
So, you may edit it to add a script control.

The file in question : /templates/joomla37/js/jquery-1.6.4.min.js (may be loaded in your template index.php)

You have conflict when JQuery loaded 2 times.

You can have a look at the way you can test loading in this file from iCagenda : site/views/list/view.html.php ;-)

About registration, seems to be ok...

And, about your theme, you will be able very soon to know the basis to create your own theme pack for iCagenda, so that you will be able to edit css, to change font colors or background, or size of the event list... (can be useful for your website!)

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.3
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.
Don't forget to have your Joomla!™ up-to-date!

Thank you for your reply and help. The registration button appeared after reinstalling icagenda - it works now (although we didn´t activate it by :cheer:

now).
I disables the loading of jquery in the index.php, so the map now is working fine. i didn´t notice any other conflicts in the template.
Thanks a lot for your time and knowledge.

I will buy the pro-version soon for using it on my friend´s commercial music-site.

Hi, I was abit hasty. Stopping the jquery in the index.php kept the amazon-scroller and the news/event-scroller from working. How can I change the view-html.php to show the map?

When too many extensions are using jQuery, it can be really useful to install and use jQuery Easy : extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-en...jquery-scripts/18327

(this is the best plugin about jQuery, i've ever tested !)

Hi!

Just activate it, and select jQuery (only, not UI) and all other features as default after installation.

This works in 95% of cases. For others this needs more special settings.
