iCagenda Calendar Month/Year Not Updating

iCagenda Calendar Month/Year Not Updating was created by okond

Hello,

I'm new to using iCagenda™ [3.6.12] Events Management Extension for Joomla! and the calendar module keeps defaulting to the same month/year.

All the events work fine (drop off and appear as indicated). I can scroll to previous/next month/year just fine. New events are highlighted on the calendar, except that I can't figure out where to have it default to current year /month. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Maybe in the module calendar option "load on date" you have a selected date ?

If yes, so empty this field and save the module.
If a date is selected, the calendar will always loads on the month and year of this date. This option should be empty to auto load on current month.

Hi Cyril,

I've looked at all my options and can't find the calendar option module. All of the settings I have seem to only relate to the actual events (which display and work as expected).

Would this be automatically downloaded when we install iCagenda? Or do we have to add it on separately? I've attached a snapshot of all the options I have under iCagenda.

We do not have any themes activated, if that matters.

Hello Olga,

Not in component options, but for each module on your site, go in admin to Extensions > Modules
and then open the module edition, to see all module options ;-)

I have same broblem. I reinstalled iCagenda and broblem exist. I looked module options: Loading on Date is not filled up.
Joomla: 3.8.1
PHP: 7.1
iCagenda: 3.6.12

Hello,

You may have a different problem, which one could be a script conflict on the page. (multiple loading of jQuery library in different versions, due to a not well code or outdated other extension, a script error somewhere else on the page, etc...)

Could you open a different topic with an online link to the page with the issue ?
