As you most probably know, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) entered into force on 25 May, 2018.
iCagenda 3.7 integrates Privacy Tools to facilitate the compliance of the extension and to make webmaster’ life easier.

[SOLVED] Email for user and the Contact-Email-address was created by pydi
Hi,

I want to get emails for the user after his registration, also for the "Kontakt" (german Installation), but I get nothing.
What is wrong, which parameters are to set?

Hello,

The email notifications system is using Joomla core mailing functions.

If your site in on localhost, and usage of PHPMailer, it's common that in this case it does not work.
If your site is online, could you test the Joomla contact form to check if this one works (or the user mass email function, in Joomla users manager).

Hi Cyril,

the mail function in Joomla works. e.g. mass-mail.

I think my parameters are wrong. Which parameters are to set for the normal mail-function in ICagenda?

Hi Cyril,

Some tests gave the result:

With the parameter "Website" (event --> information --> contact-details) I get a mail for the user after his registration.
In this mail is also the reference to the mail-address for the contact-person, but I get no mail for the contact-person.

I need the the registration-mail for the user and the contact-person is this not possible?

OK!

Go in your global options of iCagenda, go to the "Registration" tab.

Then, in "Registration notifications" part, select "Contact's email" as receiver of notification in option for notification email to admin ;-)

See help information directly in your iCagenda options :

Select who will receive the notification email when a new user registers for an event.

- Site email: email address set in global configuration of Joomla as default email used for site emails.
- Creator email: email address of the user who created the event.
- Contact's email: email address entered as contact's email for the event.
- Custom list of emails: the email addresses indicated in the custom list of emails.

all works fine, I had a wrong combination of email-addresses.
