Or, do you have try all date format possibilities ? (in menu-item option, and module options)

Yes, but you have a problem with your event, no valid date !

Add first a valid date ;)

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.3

effective date added, the name of the month is still not displayed. If you change the page encoding for (Windows-1251), the name of the month is displayed correctly, but the whole site is not readable

Yes, your problem is a page encoding somewhere.

Or a php version ! (which php version are you using ?)

iCagenda is using strings of translation from Joomla core ini files.

I see a difference between my template (with Russian date working fine) and your template:

Yours:
<html xmlns:fb="http://ogp.me/ns/fb#"  xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="ru-ru" lang="ru-ru">

Mine:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="ru-ru" lang="ru-ru" dir="ltr" >

Maybe the missing dir="ltr" or a conflict with facebook opengraphobject...

Does it works with an other template (beez 20 for example )?

1. changed
<html xmlns: fb = "http://ogp.me/ns/fb #" xmlns = "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml: lang = "ru-ru" lang = "ru -ru ">

on
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="ru-ru" lang="ru-ru" dir="ltr">

2. All templates provides tighter error.

3. News Module using the standard. Maybe error is caused by a conflict with joomsocial?

4. using version PHP 5.2 , 5.3 , 5.4 (One of the three)

Many users are using Joomlsocial and iCagenda without problems...

I think about your new module, because of a maybe setting local, which can not work well for Russian.

To have a link to download this module, can help me to test it ;-)

News Module is not installed. Perhaps the problem in the template.

It is clear, thank you. And in what could be the problem? News module in a different encoding? Or it might envy the format to display the date (LC1, LC2, LC3 ...)?
