[SOLVED] Booking-Mail for the normal-user and the organizer

Hi,

are there any roules or syntax for the mail-address?

The confirmation-mail for the user how is booking an event is mostly ok.

But I don't get the booking-mail for organizer, only if I take my "yahoo.de"-address.
With e.g. "gmail.com", "mail.de", I get nothing.

What goes wrong? Could you please help?

Hello,

Could you attached a screenshot of Global Options for Registration Notifications options ?
About if you use custom list of mails and/or group levels option for user to get admin notification when new registration.

Not: for me, gmail email works. (maybe check your spam box there too... in case...)

Booking-Information.png:
The two "switches" for the mails about booking-information for the user and the organizer in the global-options.

User:
The switch to take over the registered joomla-user in the booking-form.

Is there any mistake in the options?

Hi Cyril,

a new test range with mail addresses and the result:

Organizer User result
yahoo.de mail.de yes no
yahoo.de gmail.com yes no
gmail.com mail.de no no
gmail.com yahoo.de no yes
mail.de yahoo.de no yes
mail.de gmail.com no no

Only the mail address "yahoo.de" gets a mail.
I did tests with my regular mail program and all mail addresses. All mail addresses got a mail.

What is wrong?

To be honest, i don't have any idea on why you don't get mails.

For me, gmail emails work fine.
The only reason i can see is spam filtering against you notification emails.

Could you test too by adding the "Email der site" + "Kontact Email" ?

And do you use custom emails body, or the default iCagenda email notification emails ?

at first, thank you for your efforts.

Spam can not be the reason. I have controlled the spam boxes of all mail addresses in every mailer-website.
In first version I used a custom email body, but since the new installation this afternoon I use the original iCagenda email notification.

Sorry, I have not understand exactly what you men with:
Could you test too by adding the "Email der site" + "Kontact Email" ?

In the global options I have these parameters. Any mistake?

Ok, so maybe an idea about the reason: an error in your language translation...

Could you test with English en-GB language for site, and if still error, for admin too ?

sorry, no chance.

With the en_GB language translation, also for the admin I got the same result.
Than I tried all possible parameter in the global option for mailing:



I will test and test and test. I'm sure I find the bug in my system.
By the way in the past, round about one year ago, I had no problems with iCagenda.
It seems to me, that some updates for joomla does not confirm with iCagenda, perhaps also the last update of iCagenda with joomla?

at first for you:
THE BUG IS NOT IN THE ICAGENDA COMPONENT!!!!

I've installed another component with a mailing function for a test and got the same result as due to iCagenda.
Only the yahoo.de mail-address was working too. :-( :-(

Now I'm a little bit helpless.
The bug is anywhere in the joomla base function?
I will try to get an answer over joomla forum.
