Hi friends, today when I enter to my joomla backend found the message about an icagenda update, 3.7.9. I try to update as usual but receive the message:
An infinite loop detected
The path itself does not exist
Before updating, make sure it is compatible with your Joomla installation!
I think that the reason for that is recently I change my website from server. I change my hosting provider and I guess could be related with this, am I wrong?? How can I fix it? Can I upload manually the files? In that case in which directory?

Did you try to update using Joomla updater: Admin > Extensions > Updates ?

NB: in all cases, you can always download the lastest version and install it, it will automatically update.
Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.3
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.

Could you attach screenshot of error ?
Did you try to install another extension in case the same issue ?
To me, seems to be something broken on your Joomla installation... so difficult to say where...

Hello,
Maybe a images folder permissions issue, where the folders for iCagenda images should be created...
Could you try to check permissions on files and folders, maybe with help of Admin Tools ?

Honestly, I don't know how to check permissions. Are you talking about 777 etc of the different folders? I guess I can know with filezilla

Yes, this is exactly what i mean!
You can with filezilla, but Admin Tools could give you an easy way too to fix permissions on folders and files.
(only the configuration.php file better to keep in 444)
