[SOLVED] Description not saved a été créé par gregseth

When I create an event the « description » field of the « description » tab is not saved. Worse, if I edit an event, the content is deleted, even if I did not open the « description » tab.
This is a recent behavior, it has been working fine until now.

Which editor do you use?

Could you try with another one such as Joomla core one?

Hi,

I'm not sure what you are talking about. I've tried changing the setting in System > Config > Site > Default editor, but it has no effect. How can I tell?

Hello,

You have an extension (editor, button editor, plugin content/system...) that may modify content editor on saving.

Check about all other extensions installed.

And which editor used?

Do you have a screenshot of your description editor?

It was working fine. I did not install any new plugin since it was working (but it might be an update of an existing one).

Sorry for slow response, but try with core editor TinyMCE as default in your Joomla global configuration.

In the mean time I did some investigations. The editor in the capture is AcyEditor, coming with the AcyMailing plugin, and yes, changing it to another one such as TinyMCE or JCE does solve the problem.
That being said, !Cagenda is the only place where it has this behavior, and there may be something to investigate here.
