year conversion and translation è stato creato da mm

Hi,

I have a bilingual site. On the English side, the event list shows 2020, buton the farsi side, it is displaying the persian year: 1399. How can I make it appear as 2020 for both languages?

Also, the titles on the farsi side appear in English, how can the language be changed?

Hello,

For language strings not translated in Farsi, you can join the Persian translation team on Transifex: www.transifex.com/joomlic/icagenda/language/fa_IR/
After creating your free account, ask to join the Persian team. I will add you when i will have the notification.

You could then start first to translate missing strings in com_icagenda site used for frontend.

About the date displayed using Persian date format, it is using Joomla site language... so i wonder if i can add there an option to switch date formatting off...

Hello,

For the link, so maybe not visible when not logged-in.
General home page: www.transifex.com/joomlic

For date formatting, it is set by Joomla (not iCagenda) from your Persian language pack, in file : ROOT/language/fa-IR/fa-IR.localise.php

There, you will see the function that extends Joomla function JDate
Remove all the lines for : class fa_IRDate extends JDate {
(from line 48 to 223 in the version of Persian pack i've got).
