Good day,

Unfortunately my template cannot be upgraded to the new Joomla 4.x (so many errors, it makes your head spin). In the background I'm making a new website with a new template in Joomla 4.x , ICAgenda is working fine (just as in joomla 3.x) but I would like to copy all the dates and events to the new website.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,
Johnny.

Hello,

It's possible using PHPadmin, to export and import selected iCagenda database tables.

For this, the same iCagenda version should be installed on both websites (J3 and J4). You can use the latest iCagenda version 3.8.8 on both.

You will have to transfert too the "icagenda" folder in your media folder (images and documents you have uploaded in iCagenda such as event images and attachements).

For global params of iCagenda and module, you will just have to copy/paste the column value for "params" from the selected extension (component icagenda, module iccalendar) in the #__extensions table.

Hope this helps ?

Best regards,
Cyril

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.2
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.
Don't forget to have your Joomla!™ up-to-date!

Do you like iCagenda?
I would appreciate if you could take 5 minutes to post a review on JED (Joomla Extensions Directory) .
