This features will be developped for version 1.4 (access permissions, add new event in front-end...)

Before, there will be very soon the version 1.3 introducing registration, and new them pack system ;-)

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.3

As i have decided to number version 1.3 in 2.0, there's no 1.4.

Front-end editing is not today developped (needs more time and work on dev.)

To check the developpement road-map, keep an eye on this topic : www.joomlic.com/forum/icagenda-announcem...future-versions#1937

Thanks for your patience !

there is news? i updated to 2.06, so how to let a normal user to add/edit events?

I can allow a normal user to access to backend and click on components -> icagenda ?

but i dont' want to give ful superuser rights... how i can add a specific groupt to access to backend (only on components -> icagenda ) menu?

I give my hands to help testing the frontend user add/edit events (needed in my school where officers must access and add/edit events).

thankyou very much

The last release is 2.1.5 !

Please update ;-)

Then, in admin, create a new user group, and use Joomla ACL to grant access in admin only to users in this group ;-) (you can find a lot of infos and documentation on web about permissions in joomla 2.5)

The feature for adding event in front-end was first plaaning to the end of April, but, as i was ill 10 days this months, and because of recent problem on my hosting, this version will be possible to be available only in may. (this will be 2.2, and now, i'm working on 2.1.7 for next week, with new code to prepare this ;-) )
