Just to be sure: At the moment it is only possible to select drop down lists and radio button groups (aka "Option") as custom field type and there is no possibility to create custom fields with check boxes?

Best regards,
MF

Hello,

It's true! At the moment no checkbox option. But it's in my todo list for 3.7.x serie ;-)

Best regards,
Cyril

Thanks for the confirmation, Cyril. That is a pity, since I really like to use iCagenda, but I need those check boxes desperately. I assume there is no chance to squeeze a release date for 3.7.x out of you? :)

Would there be an easy way in the meantime to add them manually by modifying the plugin/php directly (that is, without that much changes to a gazillion of files)?

Unfortunately, i can't give an exact day for delivery, and all that will be included as testing period by Pro users not yet started (but soon!).

And no "easy" way to include checkboxes, as it means not only to add the check boxes fields visually, but to code to the function to control and save the entries to database.

So... if you have php knowledge, you can search on web how to override model and xml form with a custom plugin (it's possible with Joomla, but don't have time to explain all in details here... sorry...) so that you could edit code and then add checkboxes with form xml override, and add the needed function to save the results in database the way you need it...)

Best regards,
Cyril

Thanks for your answer. PHP and DB knowledge will be no problem...I'll have a look into that whole model overriding thingy of Joomla. Maybe there is a way that is not too hard to do it. Thanks again.

Best regards,
MF
