[Problem] Newsletter not send e-mail to guest but registred to an event

Hi team,

When I use the NewsLetter module in ICagenda, it only sends the newletter to the participant who is registered as a member.
Non-members (guest) do not receive the email despite the fact that the system has the e-mail and indicates that it has sent the e-mail to everyone.

Example

User A - member - registered for the outing - receives the e-mail

User B - non-member (guest) - participant and having indicated their e-mail address - does not receive the e-mail

An idea ?

Hello,

Did you test yourself to register as a visitor and to send a test newsletter for the event you have registered?

I've tested myself, and email works well for visitor emails.
So maybe another extension changing the Joomla email system (used by iCagenda to send newsletter, so using Joomla settings or third party extension settings if another one is overriding Joomla settings.)

I don't have another extension on the website with e-mail system.
Yes I have tested, the e-mail is sended only on the admin of the website !
When a visitor registers for the outing, he receives the e-mail... but not the newletter when I send one

You have an option in the ICal to modify this ? Because I don't view option...

Sorry for slow response...

I'm sorry, but i'm not able to reproduce this issue... And no option for that, as all email addresses (member or not) should receive the email...
When you tested it by registering as a visitor, with a not member email, did you check your spam box too?

I have tested with an user registred and with an user not registred on the website...

Same result, no newsletter received... (spam checked)

Do you want an access to the website ?

I'm sorry, i don't give admin help for free versions (not enough time...)

For now, i'm not able to reproduce the issue, so maybe missing one point.
But as this part of the code was not changed since 3/4 years, i wonder if the issue is not for another reason than iCagenda itself...

Check about mail provider for the user that don't get the email (could be a spam protection from mail hoster over your own spam box (so you don't get it).
But difficult to know, as i'm not myself able to reproduce the issue... Maybe someone else could confirm here it works or not for him?
