Hi Friends,

I have just installed iCagenda on my fresh Joomla 2.5.9 site (iCagenda v.2.0.6)
First impression - great! I was used JEvents in Joomla 1.5 (JEvents is really excellent component!). Next, updated to icagenda_2.1.1 today)
Now, after install:
- all requirements are ok - php 5.3+, errors disabled, etc. - please find screenshots
- in backend, editing event, I cannot edite events date - "Event over the Period" is empty, should I paste date there?
- Single Dates are unconfurable - I cannot Action/Delete or "Add" date - its inactive!
- frontend module - buttons where are events are inactive - no tooltips, no links, simple inactive.

I have tried completely fresh, clean Joomla 2.5.9 install - only Polish lang pack and JCE editor, cache off, nothing more!
No results - iCagenda backend not working properly, module problems.

Install is on localhost (UWamp, many other test websites working).

Will be really greatful if you can give me some suggestions, as I would like to buy your Pro version.

Best egards
Paul

Does you localhost on uwamp is connected to the web ?

iCagenda is using online jQuery library from Google.

And thanks to all your screen shots, it seems that jQuery is not loaded !

Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.3

Hi,
thank you very much for quick response!

No, my localhost is not connected to web, its local install.
Does it mean that iCagenda cannot work on localhost, without net connection? not found this information in requirements.
If so, what is solution, how to load jQuery localy?

Best regards,
Paul

So, it's impossible for Google Maps !

But for other features, you can download js files, and replace everywhere you find this :
https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/

by your folder url.

And adapt the end of the url to script files

The jQuery Libraries used are :
ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.2/jquery.min.js
and
ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.16/jquery-ui.min.js

(hope that i don't forget one...)

Hello,

I know that Google Maps will not work offline, of course.
But my goal is to test other features on local host, my standard procedure before publishing live site.
So, I will try your advice.
I also try to use jQuery Easy plugin, no success now, but testing.
Is version of jquery important?

Regards, thanks for help

Maybe you can with jQuery Easy, by loading included jQuery library... (never have tested this, but it can be a good idea)

About version, i use 1.8.2, and don't have tested with new 1.9, so maybe have error the the 1.9.

Keep me inform if you succeed with jQuery Easy ! ;)
