Is there an automatic archive function that places the event in an archive or delete it when the date has passed?

Not currently... (but can be an idea!)
You have to do it manual.
Latest version : iCagenda 3.9.3
We recommend every user to keep iCagenda updated.
Don't forget to have your Joomla!™ up-to-date!
